A new app called iTweezers is the reason why scientists love iPad. This new tool makes it possible to manipulate molecules. Scientists user laser beams can move tiny particles in 3D space, the mouse and joystick controls can be difficult speacially if working with more than one particle. Sounds like a fiction but now it is reality in the Universities of Glasgow and Bristol, UK and they have taken it to next by streaming the images over wifi from a computer controlled microscope. The app is expected to be available for download from Apple store this month.
