For all you Android users out there we have got a fabulous news. Google Play Store is celebrating its first birthday and Google is sharing the fun with Android users by offering them free and discounted apps and other stuff for their smartphones and tablets.

The iOS App Store’s equivalent of Android was not started one year ago however it was rebranded to the ‘Play Store’. Before Play Store the app market was called Android MarketPlace. Although the birthday of the store was on 6th March the company started to offer free stuff a day before to double the fun for its loyal army of Android users. Along with apps Google is also offering free music downloads, in-game content, books, TV Shows and more. Not everything is selling for free though as some of the content is available at a discounted price, which is also a great thing.

If you had an app sitting on your wishlist now is the time to download it and save some bucks. Its worth mentioning here that the deals Google is offering right now differ from region to region so you might not be able to get all the stuff which is available for free for instance in the US in your country. Right now eleven deals are available for users that allow them to save money on different kinds of content.

Popular Android games Gnome Village, Royal Revolt and Yumby Smash are offering free new levels, exclusive characters available for limited time as well as discounts on in-app purchases.

You can find out about the details on the discounts and free stuff being offered by visiting this page. It is expected that more offers will be added through out this week.
